The Nature Center

The Annie M. Carter Interpretive Center provides visitors with the opportunity to understand the delicate Pinelands ecosystem which is protected by Wharton State Forest. Located on the banks of Batsto Lake, the center offers a variety of programs and displays on the wildlife and plant life within the forest. Canoes are available for guided nature trips on the lake.
